Job dependency in scheduling

Hi , I'd like to a keep an job dependency on orchestration job. Lets say I have an orchestration job job1 and that job will trigger every day at 4 AM EST. Once that job completed then I need to run another orchestration job2 and after I need run orchestration job - job3 once the job2 completed. How can we achieve this in Matillion scheduling without using SQS ? I know I create one more job4 there I can link job1, job2 and job3 but I don't want create another job just to keeping the dependency. Is there any way to do that?

Hi Riaz,

The job dependency metadata can be captured in a parent job. So a way to do this without using SQS (or equivalent) might be to have a parent Orchestration Job, which calls job1, then job2 (upon success), then job3 (upon success).

You would then schedule the parent job to start at 4am.

Best regards,
