Calling a stored procedure

I'd like to be able to call a stored procedure that returns a result set. Can you suggest how?

The stored procedures I'd like to try are listed here: http://cdn.cdata.com/help/RQD/odbc/pg_allsps.htm.

The simplest one looks to be GetQBFileStatus. While I am unlikely to need that one, if I could get it to work, I could probably get others to work.

Hi Quinn,

Matillion currently doesn’t support calling Stored Procedures in that way, because in the majority of cases the same (or equivalent) data seems to be available through the base tables.

Do you have a case in mind where the Stored Procedure interface exposes data that’s not available any other way?

Best regards,
Ian

Quickbooks, which I'm connecting to here, does not provide complete Payroll data via it's JDBC interface for tables. It provides 2 different stored procedures which say they provide payroll data. I'm not certain if it provides more information or not.

Thanks Quinn,

We currently don’t have a workaround for that lack of functionality in the JDBC interface of the driver, but the additional information helps us with our development prioritization.

Best regards,
Ian
