difficulty connecting to salesforce sandbox instance

I used the Google Cloud Platform launcher to start Matillion, and I'm trying to connect it to salesforce.

There error message I get when trying to select a data source is:

INVALID_LOGIN: Invalid username, password, security token; or user locked out.

I've provided the username with the sandbox name appended, security token and password.

Is there something I'm missing? Is there some setup required on the Salesforce side to allow Matillion to connect via the API?

Hi Vince,

Can you attach the screenshot of the Salesforce Query component from the job and you can hide the Security Token .

This is an old ticket but worth leaving a note on available options.

The salesforce component supports a UseSandBox property which can be set to true. This property can be found under ‘Connection Options’ in the properties for the salesforce component.
