S3 Access from Load Component

We are using an RDS Query component and getting an error stating that the component needs write access to an S3 bucket. We've followed the procedure discussed here:

https://redshiftsupport.matillion.com/customer/portal/questions/16820194-accessing-s3-bucket

And this works in our development environment where we do not restrict any outbound access. But in our production environment, we are restricting outbound access to specific domains. We can access the S3 bucket using the aws cli from the production system, but Matillion still complains. So, there is some other access that Matillion requires.

Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,

When accessing Matillion ETL for Redshift you need to configure IAM role of the instance to allow your Instance to use the AWS APIs. Can you please check that production instance IAM roles and make sure it has all the required access rights?

"
Can you also post the version of Matillion on the Production server ?

Thanks
